Connecting an Etsy shop

What to expect when connecting Etsy, which permissions matter, and how listing approval works.

CraftCenter connects to Etsy so the app can show authorized shop information and prepare the listing changes you choose to review. CraftCenter is independent from Etsy, and Etsy's own account and API terms still apply.

Before connecting

  • Use an Etsy account you own or are authorized to manage.
  • Review the Etsy permission screen before approving access.
  • Make sure you are signing into the correct shop if you manage more than one storefront.

What CraftCenter uses access for

Authorized access can support listings, orders, customers, shop analytics, photo tools, labels, notes, automations you choose, and listing updates you approve. Some controls may roll out during early access.

You decide what changes

Connecting a shop does not mean CraftCenter changes listings on its own. You see the current listing, review the suggestion, and choose what should be sent to Etsy.

Disconnecting access

You can disconnect Etsy access from CraftCenter account settings or through Etsy account settings. If something looks wrong, contact support with the CraftCenter account email and the shop you intended to connect.
