How to check Smart Fix suggestions for Etsy listings before deciding whether CraftCenter should send an update.

Smart Fixes are suggestions, not automatic edits. They help sellers review common listing issues such as missing tags, missing videos, tiny photos, missing alt text, or unclear copy without losing control of the shop.

A safe approval check

  1. Open the Smart Fix queue and choose one suggested edit.
  2. Read the reason the listing deserves attention.
  3. Compare the current listing with the suggested update.
  4. Check whether the suggestion fits the product, buyer expectation, and Etsy shop voice.
  5. Send only the changes you approve.

When to skip a suggestion

Skip a Smart Fix when it does not match the product, overstates a claim, uses language you would not use with buyers, or conflicts with how the item is made, shipped, customized, or delivered.
